Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and his family are set to move out of their famous home, Mannat, as it undergoes major renovation. During this period, they will live in a luxury apartment in Bandra’s Pali Hill, paying a rent of ₹24 lakh per month.

Renovation Plans for Mannat

Mannat, Shah Rukh Khan’s home for over 25 years, is one of Mumbai’s most well-known landmarks. However, it will soon undergo extensive renovation, including a long-planned extension that required special legal approvals. Since Mannat is a Grade III heritage structure, any major changes needed government permission, which has now been granted. The renovation is set to begin in May 2025.

New Home in Pali Hill

While the renovation is ongoing, Shah Rukh, his wife Gauri Khan, and their children Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam will move into a high-end apartment in Pali Hill. The four-floor property is owned by film producer Vashu Bhagnani and has been leased by Red Chillies Entertainment from his children, Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshika Deshmukh.

The family will stay in two duplex apartments covering the 1st, 2nd, 7th, and 8th floors of the building. The space is designed to accommodate their security team and work needs, though it is not as large as Mannat. Special measures are being taken to maintain their privacy and safety.

How Long Will They Stay?

The lease agreement is for three years, but sources suggest the family may stay for around two years, as Mannat’s renovation will take a significant amount of time.

This temporary move marks a big change for Shah Rukh Khan and his family, but once the renovation is complete, they will return to their iconic home in a newly upgraded space.
