Sunita Ahuja Opens Up About Marriage with Govinda, Raises Questions About Their Relationship

Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, has shared surprising details about their marriage and her husband’s affectionate nature. In a candid discussion, Sunita admitted she no longer feels as secure in her relationship as she once did, sparking rumors about trouble in their marriage.

Sunita explained that they often stay in separate homes. While she lives in their apartment with their children, Govinda frequently stays at their nearby bungalow due to his late-night meetings and social events.

“We have two homes—a bungalow and an apartment. I stay in the flat with my kids and my temple. Govinda spends most nights at the bungalow because he gets home late after meetings. He enjoys chatting with people and often gathers a group for long conversations, while I prefer a quieter life with my son and daughter,” Sunita shared.

Reflecting on her changing feelings, Sunita said, “I used to feel very secure in our marriage, but not anymore. After 60, people change. He’s over 60 now, and you never know what people do behind your back. I’ve learned not to fully trust anyone. It’s been 37 years of marriage, but sometimes I wonder—where would he even go? Earlier, he never went anywhere, but now, I’m not so sure.”

Sunita also reminisced about their early days together, recalling her tomboyish style when they first met, with short hair and skirts.

In a lighter moment, she joked, “I’ve told him that in my next life, he shouldn’t be my husband. He never takes holidays. I’m someone who loves going out with her husband to eat pani-puri on the streets. But he worked so much that we’ve never even gone to a movie together.”
