Traffic Diversions on Mumbai-Pune Expressway from January 22 to 24 for Bridge Work
Motorists traveling on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway should expect traffic disruptions from January 22 to January 24, 2025. The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) will be installing bridge girders at Km 58/500 (Dongargav/Kusgav) on the Mumbai-bound lane.
The work will take place between 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM on those dates, causing a temporary detour. Vehicles traveling from Mumbai to Pune will be diverted at Km 54/700 near Wavhan to the Dehuroad route. However, traffic from Pune to Mumbai will not be affected. The diversion will last until 3:00 PM each day, after which diverted vehicles can return to the original route.
Motorists are advised to plan their travel accordingly to avoid delays. For assistance, travelers can contact the Mumbai-Pune Expressway Control Room at 9822498224 or the National Highway Police at 9833498334. Authorities suggest using alternative routes to avoid congestion during this period.
