Mumbai: Comedian Kapil Sharma’s daughter Anayra stole the spotlight with her cuteness during a rare public appearance on Tuesday night. The little one, accompanied by her parents at Mumbai airport, left everyone amused with her candid reaction to the paparazzi.
Kapil, along with his wife Ginni Chatrath and their daughter Anayra, was spotted late Tuesday night as they prepared to board a flight. Anayra, dressed adorably in a blue and white night suit, seemed less than thrilled with the photographers’ presence. Holding her mother’s hand, she quickly became the center of attention.
In a heartwarming video that’s gone viral, Anayra can be seen admonishing her father, “Papa, aapne bola tha photos nahi click karenge” (“Papa, you said they wouldn’t take photos”). Her innocent complaint left Kapil and everyone around in splits. Despite her mother Ginni’s attempt to have her say a quick goodbye to the cameramen, a sleepy Anayra was not in the mood to comply.
Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath tied the knot on December 12, 2018, in Jalandhar. They welcomed Anayra in December 2019, followed by their son Trishaan in 2021. While Anayra has occasionally been seen in public, Kapil has generally kept his children away from the media glare.
On the professional front, Kapil recently concluded the shooting for the first season of his Netflix show, The Great Indian Kapil Show. Last month, Archana Puran Singh shared a photo on her Instagram stories featuring a cake from the show’s set, marking the season wrap and surprising fans.
Kapil’s latest show has been a hit, and fans are eagerly awaiting the next season. Meanwhile, Anayra’s adorable airport moment has only added to the affection that the audience holds for the comedian and his family.
