Starting April 1, travelers using the Mumbai-Pune Expressway will face a 3% toll hike, affecting thousands of daily commuters. This increase applies to highways managed by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC).

According to officials, toll rates are revised every year on April 1, with heavier vehicles experiencing a bigger hike than lighter ones. For cars, a one-way toll will increase by ₹5, while a round trip will cost ₹10 more. Other vehicle categories will see an average hike of ₹15 to ₹20.

This rise in toll charges is expected to impact Mumbai residents who regularly travel to Pune for work, business, and leisure.
