Mumbai: A shocking incident in Andheri East was caught on CCTV, showing a security guard being assaulted after trying to protect himself from street dogs. The incident happened at Vastu Riddhi Apartments on March 5 at 11:36 PM.

The video shows the guard using a stick to scare away aggressive dogs when a young man, reportedly a dog lover, stepped in. Instead of helping, the man attacked the guard, pushing him to the ground while the dogs stayed nearby. Residents noticed the fight, rushed to help the injured guard, and tried to chase the dogs away.

Later, a video of the bleeding guard surfaced online, with some claiming he was bitten by the dogs. However, the footage does not clearly show if his injuries were from the dogs or the attack.

Mumbai Police Responds

As the video spread on social media, Mumbai Police took note and urged the guard to file a complaint at the nearest police station. So far, no official action has been reported. The incident has sparked debates about the safety of security guards and the responsibilities of pet lovers in managing stray animals.
