Flying activities restricted ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s election rallies in Pune
Pune: With Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled visit to Pune on April 29 and 30, authorities have issued strict directives to restrict airspace activities, including paragliding, hot balloon safari, drones, and microlights in the city area.
Collector Dr. Suhas Diwase issued an order imposing the restrictions from 12 pm on April 27 to 12 pm on April 30. The move aims to ensure the safety of VIPs and maintain law and order during the Prime Minister’s visit.
The order warns of legal consequences for violators under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code 1860. Authorities emphasized the importance of adhering to these measures to prevent any potential security risks and disruptions during the Prime Minister’s visit.
The restrictions come as part of comprehensive security arrangements to safeguard key dignitaries and maintain public order during the high-profile event. Authorities urge residents and stakeholders to cooperate with law enforcement agencies to ensure a smooth and secure visit for the Prime Minister.
